CEREMONIES THAT HONOR LIFE'S THRESHOLDS
Meaningful rituals for love, loss, and life in motion
Some moments ask us to pause. To gather. To name what is changing and what remains. Whether you’re getting married, grieving a death, welcoming a new beginning, or letting go of something dear—ceremony and ritual can help hold the complexity of it all.
I create and officiate custom ceremonies that honor these thresholds with presence, care, and intention. My work is grounded in the belief that love, loss, and change deserve to be marked with honesty and meaning. You don’t have to be religious to want something sacred. You simply have to want to honor the truth of your moment.
Each ceremony is crafted in collaboration with you—rooted in your story, your values, and your hopes for what comes next.
WEDDING CEREMONIES
Celebrating Your Choice to Love and Be Loved
a journey in inches
that took me years. Love Poem: Cavafy by Timothy Liu
I believe that love—real, imperfect, intentional love—is always worth celebrating. Whether your wedding is big or small, traditional or unique, I’m here to help you create a ceremony that feels true to you.
My role is to guide you through the process of shaping a ceremony that reflects your relationship, your values, and your story. Together, we’ll celebrate the threshold you’re crossing and mark it in a way that will stay with you.
I joyfully affirm and celebrate all couples. Love is love, and your story matters.

Memorials & Celebrations of Life
Honoring the Sacred Story of a Life
To live in this world
you must be able
to do three things:
to love what is mortal;
to hold it
against your bones knowing
your own life depends on it;
and, when the time comes to let it go,
to let it go. – “In Blackwater Woods” by Mary Oliver
Every life leaves a mark. When we gather in grief and remembrance, we tell the truth about someone’s life—how they mattered, who they were, and how we are changed because they were here.
I officiate funerals, memorials, celebrations of life, graveside services, and anniversaries of death. Whether your loved one was religious, spiritual-but-not-religious, or simply beloved, we’ll create a ceremony that reflects their life with authenticity and care.
Together, we’ll remember, reflect, and ritualize. We’ll find language for the unspeakable, and create a shared space where memory can live on. Whether your gathering is formal or casual, simple or ceremonial, I will help guide the process with clarity, care, and deep respect.
Age & Stage Rituals
Marking Life’s Transitions with Intention
“A threshold is not a simple boundary; it is a frontier that divides two different territories, rhythms, and atmospheres.”— John O’Donohue
Not all thresholds come with formal ceremonies—but they still shape us. From joyful beginnings to complex endings, life’s transitions deserve to be honored.
I create personalized rituals for moments like:
- Graduations
- Retirement
- Adoption
- Moving to a new home or job
- Endings in relationships, roles, or seasons of life
These rituals can be private or shared, simple or elaborate. What matters most is that they help you honor where you’ve been, bless what’s ahead, and mark the shift with meaning.
